Lemonade:
Lemonade stands will forever be one of the most popular items kids sell for several reasons. It’s an inexpensive product to buy, it’s popular and in high demand on sunny summer day and most importantly, who would say no to a little kid trying to make a side hustle? After all it’s much cuter to sell lemonade as a 5, 6 or 7-year old kid than as a 34-year old man. Lemonade has also been a popular choice to sell because it’s inexpensive to make which makes it an easy profit.
Water:
Water, just like lemonade will be popular because though it’s also inexpensive, unlike lemonade it’s expensive. I’ve never known anyone to feel guilty about drinking a water. Water is of course going to be a hit on a hot day but can be a hit any day. Water is also a great product to sell because it’s nothing you essentially have to prepare. You can just buy a case by the bulk and put it in an ice filled cooler. It’s also not a product you have to worry about wasting or expiring.
Cookies or Brownies:
Cookies and brownies are an easy to go product for a seller. You can buy them in bulk and make a nice profit fast. Most Americans have a sweet tooth and they get to enjoy a treat and convince themselves not to feel bad about eating it because they were supporting a kid’s business. Cookies and brownies are easy to set up and break down and even if a parent walking by doesn’t want to buy it, most likely their children will.
Hot Coco:
The same way Lemonade is a summer favorite, hot coco is a winter favorite. Children can purchase ingredients or kits to make themselves in bulk for a low price and make a great return profit from it. They can also pair it with tea or coffee to give their consumers options and make it both child and parent friendly.
Rocks and seashells:
This is something that I would highly recommend because unlike all the other products, this is basically a $0 investment that allows your children to have fun in the process. Something as simple as one beach day visit will allow them to pick out a bunch of rocks and seashells and then take them home and clean it. They can sell it for as low as they like because they don’t have to worry about making a profit for something they didn’t have to invest in.
